A New Twitter Service: TweetLaw

Apr 7th, 2009 | By Rex Gradeless | Category: Featured, Social Media, Social Networking, Twitter, Web 2.0

Welcome to TweetLaw! TweetLaw is a Twitter application designed specifically for legal professionals. Why TweetLaw? We believe that sometimes, labels are necessary. So many careers and specialties fall under the legal profession, and we want to give you the opportunity to stand out in your field. This can be done in 3 easy steps:

  1. Sign up for a free TweetLaw account with your Twitter username and password.
  2. Fill out a detailed profile page. Go crazy! We do not limit your profile to 140 characters (sorry – we can’t say the same thing about tweets!). Think of the possibilities! Don’t have time to fill out your profile? That’s okay – you can fill it out later.
  3. Pick up to 4 categories that describe what you do. Maybe you’re an “Attorney/Lawyer” who specializes in “Cyber Law” as well as being a “Blawgger” who writes about “Marketing Practices.” With over 30 categories to choose from, you’re bound to find your legal niche.

Now, when other users come to TweetLaw they can learn more about you in a click. You can also click on a certain category to find all the TweetLaw users in that category. You can respond to other members and tweet directly from TweetLaw as well.

  4. Twitter is such a great tool to develop a presence and present a view or idea. I think many people under estimate the power of the application.
