Check out Unified Search. It’s a cool new FireFox addon that lets you compare side-by-side search results from Bing and Google. It’s may be a pretty useful tool for some.

Have you noticed any substantive difference between Bing and Google? Running the same search queries in both seem to yield substantially similar results. Bing seems to market themselves as the cure for “search overload syndrome”. Some interesting search results here:

Bing search “google” – http://bit.ly/12yCV4
Bing search “bing” – http://bit.ly/145Z0a

Notice how Bing only has 1 result for “Google”!

I was a little disappointed with Bing when I first visited it, after watching the promotional video. Bing didn’t seem as good as the video suggested it would be. Perhaps it will improve over time.
