Rex Gradeless is a 2009 graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law, concentrating in Civil Litigation. Being in the courtroom is his passion – and forte. While only 25 years of age, Rex argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals and won a complete reversal and remand of a lower court’s decision. In the past, Rex has worked for The Simon Law Firm, a civil litigation firm in St. Louis. He was also selected as a Faculty Fellow at Saint Louis University, which gave him the opportunity to work under Professor Peter Salsich and publish an article about affordable workforce housing in the St. Louis University Public Law Review. Along with this blog, that has been featured in many leading publications across the globe, Rex also published an article in the ABA Journal on legal technology.
Rex has had varied professional experiences – with legal services organizations, a Prosecutor’s office, political campaigns, and has participated in numerous trial advocacy and moot court teams. Rex knew he wanted to be an attorney at a young age. Since then, he has dedicated himself to improving his skills and learning as much as he can. In his free time, Rex enjoys reading, biking, running, fishing, and traveling.
He constantly finds new ways to challenge himself, and his ambition doesn’t let obstacles stand in his way. Never taking “No” for an answer, Rex will travel to the end of the earth, utilizing all available resources and working relentlessly for his clients. He is passionate about his work and sets the bar high; his work ethic allows him to achieve whatever he sets his mind to. Rex would be an asset to any law firm, especially one that appreciates his ambition and creativity.
